We conducted a series of meticulously designed experiments and interactive tasks. These exercises skillfully elicited natural speech samples from the participants, allowing us to record and analyze the intricate phonetic nuances, intonational contours, and prosodic features unique to the Norwegian language. By employing recording technologies, we ensured a good standard of capturing the acoustic and articulatory properties that shape the Norwegian speech. Through a series of carefully crafted perception experiments, participants were exposed to a range of auditory stimuli, including recorded speech samples and isolated sounds. By examining their discernment of subtle phonetic and phonological distinctions, we gained invaluable insights into the perceptual sensitivities and cognitive processes at play among native Norwegian speakers.
