20th International Congress of Phonetic Sciences (ICPhS) 2023

Our Polish team presented project results at the International Congress of Phonetic Sciences in Prague (August 7-11, 2023).

ICPhS is the largest and the most prestigious phonetic congress held every four years.

Some of the research topics we presented on included the voicing onset time perception of Norwegian and Polish (Zuzanna Cal), acoustics of vowel spaces in Polish, English and Norwegian (Jarosław Weckwert et al.), factors determining perceptual and acoustic similarity of native and non-native vowels (Anna Balas et al.) production of rhotics (Kamil Kaźmierski), Net Auditory Distance (Katarzyna Dziubalska-Kołaczyk) and predictors of foreign accentedness in multilingual speech (Magdalena Wrembel et al.).
